Welcome
Unit Member ABC
So you have journeyed though dark times as applicant and have proven yourself to be active and attended House of Black Star Main Meeting. You now have been promoted and you can call yourself a Unit Member of House of Black Star.
A. I’m a Unit Member… Now what?
Because you are no longer an applicant, many more will be willing to offer their aid and you have probably advanced some levels since you joined (if you came in as a n00b) so you can now actually find a few more members to team with inside the organization. Your future is yours to decide what you want to do. House of Black Star will grow stronger as time goes by and so will you. We hope you learn about the game, receive help and help others.
B. Why am I here?
You might ask yourself why you joined the organization or why you even play these games. The answer is simple: it’s a social game and you meet other people, not just some computer characters. It’s a game where you can make online friends and interact with live people from all over the world. This is what House of Black Star is all about. Black Star is here to grow a big strong guild, hopefully one of the largest and make its mark on history and we count on all our members to make it happen. We don’t want inactive members just to look big, we want people who participate and help each other out, who come up with ideas and help organize player events.
C. But... I’m just a Unit Member
The Unit Member is one of the most important ranks in House of Black Star, they are the largest number and so they can come up with many new suggestions. House of Black Star is kept alive thanks to a stable and participative Unit Member group. We try to have as many active members as possible by having a social and friendly chat channel, staging some fun events once in a while, team up with each other and such. We want an organization where you are satisfied and happy. If you are, then more will come and increase the positive spirit of the entire guild. Some Unit Members will become inactive or move on to other guilds, but that is just the normal path of life. Because there are so many Unit Members, we need to face different minds and try to find a way everyone can be happy with. Such is the job of the leaders, but you can help them!
D. Anything special I should know about being a Unit Member?
Unit Member is a rank hard to define or put a model into. You should just try to be yourself, interact and stay active in guild chat whenever you can. Try to be helpful to others and stay in touch with you Unit Leader, he should be your first contact when you need help.
E. Can I advance more than Unit Member?
Yes you can, but it requires a bit more of you. You will need to show a bit more loyalty, respect and follow the rules to make this guild strong. If you keep your head up and become a symbol to the org, you will be a strong candidate for promotion. Other leaders may also have their eyes on you has a possible candidate for promotion.
