Ranks
Ranks Overview

Our organization uses a Department Structure and as such, there are several levels of command, each one with its own powers and responsabilities. This structure is represented by the Chain of Command and you can find out who is who in its respective part on this section. In adition to this basic structure, we have introduced a tweak which we call Circle of Life. The members of Circle of Life form our recruiting team and are responsible for bringing new people into the organization. Bellow you can find a brief overview of what is expected from each organization rank members. You should also read your own rank ABC, because it contains more detailed information that will help you find out how you fit in the big picture.

Applicant
Dresscode: Red Cloak with Red Hood until promoted to Unit Member
Job & Responsibility: As an Applicant you must try to stay active, the organization chat channel should be your closest friend to mingle in with the other members. A good way for members to get to know you is to register on our web site and say a few words about yourself in the forums (where you are from, how long have you played, etc). You only got one task as Applicant: get the Unit Member clothes (see dresscode) and attend Main Meeting.
How to get promoted: This is simple, but also very important: you must attend the Main Meeting on the first Sunday each month to get promoted. After every main meeting, applicants not promoted to Unit Members will be kicked (unless you left a reason for not attending on web site or you informed your Unit Leader). We do this because we need people we can rely and trust on and a player who doesn’t participate won’t fit in. Once you are promoted you can put on you Black Trenchcoat and Hood.

Unit Member
Dress code: Black Trenchcoat with Black Hood & Black Boots/Gloves
Job & Responsibility: Be yourself, stay positive and be social to your new family: House of Black Star.
How to get promoted: Be one of the members that always show up and try to get as much positive feedback as possible. You will of course be noticed when you use organization chat a lot and help/advice other members. We need positive energy and creativity and if you know about your profession, you might be the one we need.

Unit Leader
Dress code: Leather Trenchcoat with Black Hood & Black Boots/Gloves
Job & Responsibility: There should be one Unit Leader for every profession and your job is to act like an advisor to unit members. As such, a Unit Leader should be some kind of average expert on his own profession. You are also expected to store at least a couple of backpacks filled with useful equipment. This inventory is to help new members of your profession. You also are responsible for monthly reports about inactive players and status of your profession. Keep a track of who is in your profession (keep them on you friend list). President/Generals will respond on your wish to kick out inactive members or members that don’t respect what our organization is (but then again these will never attend to meetings).
How to be promoted: Put together an elite group in your profession, show that you can lead some member and give all the help they need. Teach them the respect, structures and rules of conduct of the organization. A success is to make members like the organization and see the good use in the chosen profession. Make them smile, have fun and be there for them. This is the way for you to be Unit Commander.

Unit Commander
Dress code: Nanofreak Trenchcoat with Nanofreak Hood & Black Boots/Gloves
Job & Responsibility: It’s time to show you can lead leaders, you have made a perfect job as Unit Leader and have taken care of your unit’s members. Now your responsibility has got a step higher and you must command a group of profession leaders. There groups are: Storm division (Enforcer, Soldier, Martial Artist, Keeper), Artillery division (Engineer, Meta-Physicist, Bureaucrats), Medical division (Doctor, Adventurer), Support division (Shade, Nano-Technician, Fixer, Agent, Trader). Your job is to know your entire group and help the leaders of each group. You need to work close to your Unit Leaders and other Unit Commanders, because a perfect battle will need all 4 groups working together. If you manage to handle this, it’s a great job and you might not want to be promoted. In war you love the fields and towers and maybe this is where you feel you belong.
How to get promoted: You know who should be in the organization and how it is ran. It’s time to move on to help your lower leaders by enlisting new members in their units. You have become a popular leader that members like and you are known by other non-members. This is the main thing, it’s time to get them into our organization.

Squad Commander
Dress code: Sabretooth Trenchcoat with Sabretooth Hood & Black Boots/Gloves
Job & Responsibility: As a Squad Commander, you now have the responsibility to recruit new members (/org invite), and this is of course one of the main reasons you have managed to become Squad Commander. As Unit Commander you have proven you can control and command other people. Now you have grown stronger and know a lot more about other professions. Your job is to get new members in and inform them about the organization and how we work, as you have learned through your other commissions. But your job doesn’t end there, you are an advisor on organization matters and also help the new unit commanders a lot. You have become one of the veterans and you have earned the organization’s trust and respect. It’s here most leaders will settle down
How to get promoted: The President and the Generals must have full trust in you, so you must have a close relation to the top. You are of course one of the main characters in organization, you pump new life in and been one of the key characters around events. A major plus is of course if you make something for the organization that up member’s popularity around you and organization. Also you must have fulfilled your Public Relations job with perfect record (got many new members into organization and helped them up to stay). You know you are the man to be general! (even so becoming general is hard, there is no need for president to have many. Squad commander is almost just as useful for the President as Generals)

General
Dress code: Aquatic Trenchcoat with Aquatic Hood & Black Boots/Gloves
Job & Responsibility: The President’s most loyal members will hopefully become Generals and when you have reached this point the President has total trust on you. You will have more responsibility because you are the president’s right hand and when he is not around, the President trusts you to run the whole thing, or you wouldn’t have become General in the first place. You will gain the very strong ability to kick members (/org kick).
How to be promoted: President’s retirement or wish to step down

President

Dress code: Lava Trenchcoat with Lava Hood & Black Boots/Gloves
Job & Responsibility: The President is the top head of the organization, he sits with the ultimate power to decide the organization’s destiny. The main difference between him and the Generals is he can change org information and control the bank. He is also the only one that can promote members to General rank.
